One of the difficult things about arriving in Cottingham in the midst of a pandemic, and between lockdowns, was that I haven’t been able to visit people. It was so lovely to welcome everyone into my garden for our patronal festival garden party, and it made me realise how much I have missed the chance to get to know you. So I am intending to start visiting people so that we can get to know each other better. If you would like me to come and visit, please let me know – I don’t like dropping in without warning in case it’s an awkward time, so I’ll always arrange it in advance. I’m happy to wear a face mask or to meet outside if you prefer. I’ll really look forward to it!
