Last Sunday after the 10am service we held a meeting to hear views on how we should preserve and improve our beautiful church, now and into the future. There were lots of ideas about things we love about St Mary’s and things we think would improve it. The noticeboards will stay up for another couple of weeks, so anyone who wasn’t able to be there on Sunday can add their views. The Project Group will be meeting next week, and they’ll look at your responses as they work together on a ’statement of needs’ for our church.
This Sunday we are celebrating Harvest. I want to thank in advance all those who will be decorating the church, and all those who will bring gifts to be given to the Cottingham Food Bank. It’s always wonderful to see our lovely church so beautifully decorated and to see the proof of your generous spirit.
