Trinity Sunday
This Sunday is Trinity Sunday, an end and a beginning. It marks the end of ’seasonal time’ - that half of the church’s year where we re-tell and re-live the story of salvation. We are nearly at the end of Eastertide. Yesterday was Ascension Day, when we celebrate Jesus leaving the disciples to return to the Father. He tells them to return to Jerusalem from the hill he’s taken them to, and to wait there. They return - rejoicing in the task he’s given them — and wait.
