Last Sunday we had a wonderful celebration of Fr James’s golden jubilee — fifty years since his ordination to the priesthood. We were joined by Fr James’s friend Revd Canon Owain Bell, who gave a warm and at times very funny tribute to Fr James in his sermon. The Noticeboard
The noticeboard outside the church gates has given many years of service, but time and the elements have taken their toll and it is now looking very much worse for wear. Last Tuesday we held a service to remember lives lost to suicide, the first service of its kind we have ever done. In the service we heard stories from those who have lost loved ones to suicide, and there were opportunities to share the names of those we were remembering, and to light a candle for them.
