We are nearly at the end of Eastertide. Yesterday was Ascension Day, when we celebrate Jesus leaving the disciples to return to the Father. He tells them to return to Jerusalem from the hill he’s taken them to, and to wait there. They return - rejoicing in the task he’s given them — and wait. It’s now only three weeks to our annual meeting, the APCM, which will be held after the 10am service on Sunday 19th May.
